A shopper buying adult diapers for a parent may be ready to order as soon as she finds the right size. One question might still send her back to the product photos: “Can Dad change these without taking off his trousers?” For a retailer, that question is a useful way to read a product page. The pack count, price and size can all be clear while a detail that matters at home is still hard to find.
Consider two packs on a pharmacy shelf. Both say “Large,” both contain 20 pieces, and both show the product folded. One contains adult briefs with tabs. The other contains pull-on underwear. Someone buying for a family member for the first time could reasonably miss the difference.
An unfolded photo beside each pack would give that shopper something concrete to compare. A short caption such as “opens at the sides and fastens at the waist” explains what the tabs actually do. Online, that same photo belongs near the size selector, where the shopper is making the choice.

Now consider the father’s side of the purchase. He may prefer the familiar waistband of pull-on underwear at home and want a different option when he goes out. He may also have a question his daughter would never think to ask. If he takes a spare to lunch with friends, will it fit in the inside pocket of his usual bag?
For a private-label brand reviewing adult diaper samples, that last question suggests a simple addition to the product page: show one folded brief beside a ruler and identify the size pictured. A shopper can use that image to check a particular bag. A word like “discreet” leaves the answer open.
A retailer following up on a sample can learn something different from each person. Ask the buyer, “What did you have to look up before ordering?” Then give the wearer the option to answer a separate question: “What would you want to know before choosing your next pack?” If the buyer asks about fastening and the wearer asks about carrying a spare, you already have the subjects for your next two product photos.
To the brands and retailers listening to both sides of the purchase, we hope those conversations make your next product page easier to use. And to everyone wearing these products, we wish you comfort, privacy and the freedom to enjoy an ordinary day on your own terms.
